Lindsay Parkin

Dr. Lindsay Parkin is an experienced management consultant working to improve ways people communicate and behave within organisations.

With a background in cognitive psychology and communication, Lindsay gained his doctorate and conducted research at Sussex University before moving into management consultancy. Working primarily in the field of communication between individuals and throughout organisations he conducts individual and group training and consults on the design and implementation of HR systems.

Currently Lindsay is creating development and assessment centres to establish how well people are able to deliver against organisational competencies. In the process of recruitment or competence evaluation, it is not always possible to generate evidence in the course or everyday interactions or interviews. These assessment processes allow objective evaluation of behaviour and competence in the context of simulations, carefully constructed to reflect the realities of the working environment.
